William nor wife Catherine were located in the 1850 MO. census reports. There was a Catherine reported to have been resident in Buchanan Co., MO. (p 142) in 1840 and also in DeKalb Co., MO. (p 647) in 1860, however I have not reviewed the 1840record and I couldn't locate the 1860 record.
James, wife Lorena and family are residents of Owen County, IN. (p 2) during the 1850 census, with only initals given in place of names. The male child listed as A., age 27, is possibly a relative?

Son George in his Obituary indicated Lorena was from a Quaker family and born in NC.
Son of Mary HASKET and John MOSER. Joseph is listed as a tax payer in Owen Co., IN. in 1825 and 1827, however he does not appear in the deed records. It is suspected the family removed to Morgan Co., IN. by 1928, and near his father in law, Solomon DUNANAN. He appears on a land entry in Morgan Co. 30 Nov 1830, for 80 Acres and again on 30 Nov 1839 for an additional 80 Acres in Jan 1839. Eighty Acres was sold in 1834, the rest of his land except 40 Acres was sold in 1839 with the final 40 Acres being sold in Jul 1844, and at this time the family removed to Andrew Co., MO.They reside in MO. until 1852 when the family and along with their married children joined a wagon train to OR. John DIXON headed up the wagon train, however he left the group at Ft. Hall and headed to CA. Joseph was elected to head the wagon train and the group arrived in Silverton Hills, OR. 7 Sep 1852. He and son's Joseph and Solomon had Donation Land Claims, as well as two of his son in laws.
Isabella is reported to have been the mother of 12 children by 1852, 2 of which died prior to this this date. The family joined a wagon train in MO. under the guideance of Jim DIXON on their treck by the way of the Oregon Trail, arriving near present day Silverton, Marion Co., OR. on 7 Sep 1852. They obtained an Oregon Donation Land Claim of 640 acres where they remained the rest of their lives

Franklin's father Solomon was the Administrator of his estate, appointed 6 Sep 1841, in Clinton Co., MO., however his assets were not sufficient ot pay his debts.
After the death of husband Franklin, Nancy married on 24 Apr 1843 to Charles H. CARTER, a widower.
