Walker moved his family from their farm near Batesville, AR. to New Hope, Dallas Co., TX. c1901. Then about 1907 he removed the family by rail to a 320 Acre farm near Faxon, OK. In 1916 he leased his farm in Faxon and moved to Lookeba, OK. for 2 years then back to Faxon. In 1922 he rented out the Faxon farm again and moved the family to Green Forest, AR., returning to Faxon in 1925. Walker was farmer as well as a horse trader along with being involved in other venturesome exchangesof property.
