Lisa Gay Smith Cornelison, 47, Pocatello, died Saturday morning, August 30, 2008 at the home of her mother, following a lingering Illness.
She was born April 19, 1961 at Alhambra, California to Harold and Luella Steiner Smith. Lisa attended Greenacres Elementary, Alameda Jr. High, and graduated from Highland High School. She married Blaine Cornelison on December 4, 1982. They had a son, Kaj Blaine. They were later divorced.
Lisa was very talented in many areas, especially decorating and arranging flowers. She loved the holidays and enjoyed decorating her home for these various occasions. She loved the outdoors and camping.
She is survived by her son, Kaj; mother, Luella and grandmother, Ruth Steiner. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her longtime companion George.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Memorial services will be held Friday, September 5, 2008 at 1:00 pm in the Cornelison ~ Henderson Funeral Chapel, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, with Bishop Alan Spidell conducting. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until services in the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello.
