Obituary


POCATELLO - Brent Cornelison, 58, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday afternoon, February 3, 2011.
He was born December 30, 1952, in Rupurt, Idaho, to Ellis and Elsie Cornelison. He was the sixth of nine children. Brent grew up just outside of Pocatello on his family's farm. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1972. Just after graduating he and his best friend, Rod Ellsworth, joined the Army together. Brent received an honorable discharge on July 23, 1974.
He worked in construction and tree servicing most of his life. Brent loved music, if you put a musical instrument in his hand he could play it. He loved to socialize and be around people. He also loved anything to do with the outdoors.
Brent was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Cornelison. Brent is survived by his companion, Sharon Derricott; a daughter, Hope Noe (Shan), Idaho Falls, Idaho; a son, Brandon Cornelison (Macie), Twin Falls, Idaho; a granddaughter, Larissa Noe, Idaho Falls, Idaho; a grandson, Christopher Noe, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and twin granddaughters, Gwenalynn and Aurora Cornelison, who will join us in this world soon; his mother, Elsie Cornelison, Pocatello, Idaho; seven brothers, Jerry (Janet), Las Vegas, Nev., Boyd (Tammy), Blackfoot, Idaho, Lynn (Denise), Pocatello, Idaho, Curtis (Neena), Pocatello, Idaho, Dennis, Blackfoot, Idaho, Floyd (Judy), Wasilla, Alaska, Blain (Dianne), Wasilla, Alaska; and a sister, Janet Tomlinson (Larry), Boise, Idaho
