Jessie wrote: Harrington had an alcohol problem so Ruby packed a bag, bundeld up the girls, walked away and never went back. That would have been about 1934. They divorced and Harry died about 1946. Mom later was working at a cafe in Seattle where she met my dad, Austin Dwitt Earl.
Austin and Ruby moved to Juneau, Alaska shortly after marriage, Beverly Jean Harrington went with them, Colleen stayed in Seattle and married.
