Carrie Francis "Camma" MCKINNEY

Volunteered 5 Jun 1861 when he was 27.  His father James, and his brother William, entered at the same time.  Killis suffered a wound in the hip and knee at Chancellorsville, VA, 4 May 1863.  suffered a wound again at Kelly's Ford, VA, 7 Nov 1863.


James Walter SHELTON

Volunteered when he was 28 along with his brother, Edward F, a Surry 5 Jun 1861.  He entesred as a Sergeant but lost that position and became a Privated in Nov 1861.  he was taken prisoner 3 May 1863 at the Battle of Chancellorsville, VAA.  He was a POW aat Old Capitol Prison in Washington, DC; For Delaware, Del.  and City Point, VA, where he aarrived for exchange 23  May 1863.
