Timmons;  b. 4-5mo-1883, Fredonia, Kan;  d. 7-1mo-1934, Riveside, California;  came from Kansas about 1901 and settled in Riverside;  a plumber by occupation;  they lived in San Pedro, Calif., 1918-20;  Mr. Timmons was a Democrat and one time member of United Brethen Church;  after his death, Mrs. Timmons m. (2nd). 11-6mo-1939, to NELSE ABRAMS TURPEN, son of Moses and Josephine (Adkins). Turpen;  b. 18-4mo-1894, on Wild Cat Creek, near Furley Co., Kanasas;  attended barber college in Wichinta, Kansas; at age of 30 removed to California;  lived 8 years at Stockton, Calif., then to Riverside;  joined Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon). in Riverside in 1938; confirmed his wife-to-be into the Church one Sunday and married her the next; moved to Los Angeles 1940; 1942-45 was assemblyman for Lockheed Aircraft Corp., Burbank, Calif.; did barbering 1945-49, then returned to Lockheed.
