Dallas Guthrie, 79, of P.O. Box 235, Laketon, IN, died Wednesday evening, Mar. 20, 1996, at his residence.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 23, 1996 at Bender Chapel Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service with Pastor J. P. Freeman officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Association.

James William Guthrie 57, 1001 Ferry Street died in Wabash County Hospital at 1:20 P.M. Saturday after a three month illness. A lifetime resident here, he was an employee of Container Corporation of America for twenty-five years. He was a World War two Navy Veteran and assistance Scoutmaster of Troop 429. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Hanna Masonic Lodge and Coachman Camping Club. He was born October 15,1920 in Wabash to Will J. and Floy (Morrow) Guthrie 174 Elm Street. He married August 16,1942, in Wabash to Wilmajean Wilson. Surviving with the widow and parents are two sons, Richard Guthrie Marion,Indiana and James L 1001 Ferry Street, a daughter Mrs Steven (Pamela) Bennet Marion,Indiana, a brother John H. Guthrie R R 4 Wabash, sister Virginia Goff 170 Meadowview Drive, and four grandchildren.
