He resided in Canada, then moved to Tacoma an early age. He became a superintendent in the Construction Co. working for M. B. Construction Co. and the Lease Construction Co. in Alaska and Seattle. He was a lifetime member receiving his 50+ pin from the Carpenters Union #470. He loved his garden, fishing, and the outdoors. He was a member of the Masonic Order, last holding the Chaplains Office.
Surviving are his wife Erika of Puyallup; son James and wife Mary Carlisle, Federal Way; sister, Dorothy Snedden, Tacoma; 3 grandchildren.
Private services were held at his request. Remembrances may be made to Puyallup Good Samaritan Home Health Hospice or your favorite charity.

She is also survived by sisters, Gloria Lewis, Olga Filley and Linda Loe. Erika was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents, Conrad and Katherine Minch; and her two brothers, Walter Minch and Rudy Minch.
