Notes for CHARLES (2) WORTHINGTON: Will- " negroes were left to the 5 surviving childern John, Charles, Sarah, Mary & Samuel. John received the dwelling "Worthington Dividend" 354a. Charles was willed the 2 tracts purchased from Henry Coale & Thomas Johns & portions of "Philip's Purchase". Samuel was bequeathed the tracts purchased from Thomas Wells known as "Well's Lott" at age 19 yrs. The residue of the estate was to be divided among the 5 childern. The inventory papers of his personal estate were signed 2/18/1775 by Samuel Worthington & Sarah Lee as kinsmen & John & Charles as the executors.
