Dear Howard;
My aunt Margret Myers sent this information on my Dads side. Margret is my Dads Sister. (Handwritten Genealogy Chart incorporated in this database-HNC)
My father passed away 12/24/85. I don't remember you, its so long ago. My husband Carl knew our family before I ever met him. He worked for Kermit and Eloise at the Railroad and he knew Uncle Howard (Your Dad) because Carl is a Mechanic. One day in Watsonville Carl had to go see a friend at Ford Garage so I waited in the truck until I saw Howard and ran in and gave him a hug. Carl was shocked to find out he was my Uncle. What a small world it is.
I would like to know how to find people on my dads side of the family. I just lucked out to find you. Well I better close for now.

I have the sad news of telling you that cousin Marlene, age 56, died on Tuesday morning. She had been very ill for days from the flu and the fact that she has COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) it did her in, sadly. Barbara is devastated, they were so close.
The funeral is Friday at Struve & Laporte Funeral Chapel at 41 W. San Luis St. Salinas, Ca.
Her husband and son live at 155 Clay St., Salinas, Ca. 93901

She was born March 29, 1950, in Watsonville.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
