Floyd William Matthews (Matt) was born to Floyd and Nora Matthews, in Dover,
New Hampshire, September 1st, 1929 and passed away 9:18 PM 20 April, 1988.
Matt attended the Warren Easton Boys School in New Orleans, Lousiana,
graduated from Napa High School (Napa, CA) and was an Eagle Scout. He
graduated Cum Laude from San Jose State. He loved to fly and was a pilot for
over 30 years having flown for Food Machinery Corporation (FMC) for a number
of years and finally as Chief Pilot for Hewlett Packard. Matt had a very
strong love for life in addition to his flying he loved sports, was a very
good baseball player (a pitcher), and he was a strong swimmer. He also loved
reading good books, loved clocks, and loved to travel with flying within the
country and sometime outside the USA.
