Casey forwarded to me a genealogy chart that you prepared in your "myfamilyebook." I noticed that you have my Dad's year of birth as 1912 and it is 1913. Born Feb. 13, 1913.
Kellie (Moore) has married as of last year I believe to a Mike Majusiak. I don't have the particulars on this but you could email her at kmajusiak@mocse.org. I forgot to check her other husbands, first one was Schuldies and second one Cervantes and last Mike M.

HISTORY: Anna was a beautician most of her life and is still active at age 88. She took care of her two great-granddaughters in her home. Family members living with her then were her son Patrick, his son Chris, and Pat's oldest Daughter Shannon and her two daughters. when they were ages 8 and 2 years old.
DEATH: subject Mother passed
It is so sad for me to inform you all of our Mother's passing at 2:23 a.m. at the Santa Cruz Healthcare Center on February 14, 2009. Mother was 101 and up to a few days ago was doing quite well and looked beautiful, about 20 years younger than her age.

Casey & I were notified yesterday a.m. that her oxygen level was fluctuating and they had her on a full oxygen mask that she kept trying to take off. Casey and I got there as soon as we were called and took turns keeping the mask on. Her breathing was very fast and she never opened her eyes or acknowledged our being there. She remained asleep until her death. She had been treated for bad congestion in lungs this past week. Thursday she was alert, albeit not looking good or feeling good and that was the last day we spoke to her when she asked me again about my scheduled operation for Wednesday 18th (which I will try and cancel). We hugged and I kissed her goodbye as I did daily.

I left Mother's room at 9:45 P.M. and Casey stayed with her until her death.

Services will be held in Santa Cruz on Friday , for Anna Lucile Moore who passed away peacefully on February 14, 2007 in Santa Cruz at the age of 101. Born in Long Beach, California, she has been a resident of Santa Cruz since 1946. At the age of 16, she began training as a beautician in Oakland California. Anna worked locally as a beautician at Chico's beauty salon in Leask's department store, Sim’s beauty Salon and she managed Artistic beauty Salon until her retirement. Her career in cosmetology spanned over 52 years.

Anna and her late husband Richard were accomplished ball room dancers, winning numerous prizes in dance competitions. Anna was also a expert contract Bridge and Pinochle player and was a familiar face at many bridge clubs. Anna and her sister -in-law Frances Camp loved to travel throughout the United States, and Canada. She especially loved her cruises to Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico.

She will be remembered as a loving and generous mother, grandmother and friend. The family would like to thank the many friends who visited her and especially the staff at Santa Cruz Health Care Center for excellent care.

She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Matthews of Santa Cruz, her sons and daughters- in- law, Casey and Deanne Moore of Santa Cruz and Patrick and Pam Moore of Port Townsend, WA. Anna also leaves her three grandchildren: Shannon Moore, Kellie Majusiak, Christopher Moore and their mother Lydia Moore: 11 great grandchildren, along with numerous loving nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Richard James Moore in 1960 and 7 brothers and sisters. Services for Anna will be held at Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel (2271 7th Ave.) in Santa Cruz on Friday, February 20, 2009 beginning at 11 a.m. Closed casket visitation from 2 to 6 PM on Thursday, February 19th at Pacific Garden Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St. Santa Cruz . Burial will follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her loving husband Richard.DEATH: Social Security Death Index
