Robinson, but he never used the named Jack, always preferring to be known as James or Jim. He was inducted into the U.S. Navy to serve in World War II, service beginning October 1943. He was discharged in October 1946. He relocated to Michigan about 1965 to join his wife, Jean Robinson, whom he married in July 1968.He worked for Triquet Paper Company until 1974 when he became permanently disabled due to health issues. His son, Rodney J Harding, died after him. His other four children survive him as do 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Burial is in Deepdale Memorial Park, Dimondale, Michigan. Beverly Jean Robinson, a loving mother and grandmother, died Nov. 1, 2007 after a courageous battle with an illness. She was born June 25, 1940 the daughter of Frank Roose and Doris Adams, both of whom preceded her in death. She worked as a housing director for the Potterville Housing Commission and served on the TIFA board intil her illness. She was a former deputy clerk for the city of Potterville. Her pride and joy were her five children; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and drinking coffee and enjoyed good conversation with friends. She also was the widow of James D Robinson. She also was preceded in death by her son, Rodney J. (Robinson) Harding and her brother, Robert Roose. The family would like to thank all her friends, aka The Coffee Club for all their support, care and friendship.
