Death:  Oct. 24, 2004

 Mrs. Emma E. Lovelace, 82, of 103 Jonesville Blvd., Jonesville passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Emma was born in Surry County on Jan. 18, 1922, to Ebin Edwards and Alice Hedgecoe Edwards. She is survived by her husband, Jack Lovelace of the home; two children, Lois C. (Ben) Beeker of Jonesville and Phil (Scottie) Vanhoy of Elkin; four sisters, Ethel (Harold) Southard of Taylors, S.C., Kizzie Bullins of Dobson, Thelma Moser of Dobson and Bertha Montgomery of Pilot Mountain; a brother, John Edwards of Dobson; three grandchildren, Sammie (Thomas) Dameron of Jonesville, Jackie Clearly of Jonesville and Craig Vanhoy of North Wilkesboro; three great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Jonesville by the Rev. Richard Cardwell. Interment will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesville.
