CaldwellEva Hazel Denning, 92, Caldwell, formerly of Roswell, passed away, Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at Holly Nursing and Rehab Center, Nampa.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Roswell Cemetery, Roswell. The Rev. Noble Hunt will conduct the service.
Eva Denning was born, June 2, 1912, to James Alexander and Julia Ann Tuning in the Apple Valley Community. The family moved to Roswell when she was 3-years-old. She was raised on the farm and attended the Roswell schools and graduated from the Roswell High School. Eva married August Henrich Ostermeir, Sept. 23, 1932. He passed away March 20, 1966. Eva married Baily Vetalio Armacost June 14, 1967. He passed away May 10, 1976. Eva married Marshel Gerald Denning Jan. 8, 1977. He passed away Feb. 20, 1997. Most of Eva's life was spent in farming operations in several areas, Ten Davis, McCall and Cascade.
She was a past member of the Ten Davis Social Club and The Lakeview Friendly Neighbors. She worked for Ore-Ida Foods, Ontario. She was a member of The Faith Baptist Church of Fruitland. In later years she spent her time at her cabin in New Meadows.
Eva is survived by her brother, Robert Tuning, Caldwell; sisters, Margret Parsons, Boise and Beulah Barrett, Longview, Wash.; several nephews, Edgar and Lester Tuning, Caldwell, Merl, Detriot, Donald Fritts, Hermiston, Ronald Tuning, Boise, Larry Barrett, Nampa, Raymond Parsons, Boise, Rob Price, Baker City; nieces, Joan Kinter, Boise and Sherilyn Tamura, Caldwell.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; step-brothers and step-sisters.

He lived in the Parma/Roswell, Idaho, area, and was of the same generation as Orville Tuning of Greenleaf , Idaho (son of William Rancilar). Their bank kept getting the accounts mixed up so the Greenleaf Orville finally moved his account to another bank.
