Randolph Blackshaw, age 60 of Hollinger, Chesire, his wife Alice, aged 43, and children Phebe, 16, Sarah 14, Abraham, 10, who died at sea; Jacob, 8, Mary 6, Nehemiah, 3, and Martha, 1, all were on the “Submission, according to the log. They brought as servants Roger Bradbury and his family, but of these, his wife Ellenor, sons Jacob, Joseph and Roger Bradbury were apparently sold in Maryland for their passage, while only Rober himself, his 14 year old daughter Martha, and 8 year old daughter Sarah, came to Pennsylvania with the Blackshaws.
