Robert died on the 28th of August of pulmonary consumption at his residence in Penn Twp in the 50th year of his age. He left children; see probate record box 23 Jefferson County Iowa. Also see "Our Jefferson County Ancestors" page 95.

He was the son of Thomas and Ruth (Montgomery) Hodson.

Marvin E. Burley, 91, of Kuna, passed away at a Nampa care center on Nov. 17, 2004.
Marvin was born on March 31, 1913, in Norden, NE. He had a long, good life, spending his last years at Roseheaven Assisted Living in Nampa in the loving hands of Tambra and Pat.
He is survived by his sons, Phillip (Glenda), American Falls, Marlin (Shirley), Boise; daughters, Pam (Roger) Brown, Kuna, Ona (Eddy) Law, Boise; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Nov. 22, at Meridian's Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
