Reuben Mills, child 4, reported to have married 2nd 11-29-1843, to Mary Reed, d. 3 - 26 - 1868, she was the daughter of George and Rachel Reed. Reuben died 3 - 13 - 1873.

Notes by Jeremiah Mills Jr. Richard had a large family. I can not say how many, but will name some I have seen and others I have heard of, Asa, William and Hurr I have seen and if I'm not mistaken have heard of others. They went to Tenn. before my rememberance. Reuben stayed on Deep Ricer until 1807. He moved to Belmont Co., Ohio. He was blind some years before he died.

Not too much known of this family. Richard married Hannah, but we do not know her last name. A record of their children is found in the register of the Deep River MM in Guilford Co., NC. In 1792 they moved to Tennessee. Here the family setteld at Lost Creek MM, Jefferson Co., and lived here the rest of their lives.
Date of birth differs on some reports, as 24 Dec 1774 and death as 30 Feb 1774.

Joseph Thornburg, father of Richard, married first to Wilmet Beeson, Wimet died 2-6-1775 and Joseph remarried to Rebecah MILLS MORGAN on 2 5 1778
Rebecca was buried in Springfield FBG. Rebecca had seven children by first marriage.
