Luris Neal LAMPH

Luris N. Lamph,70, passed away Monday, February 28, 2000, at the American Fork Hospital.

He was born March 22, 1929, in Cleveland, Emery County, Utah, a son of John Ivor and Christie Madsen Lamph.

He is survived by his sons Claude Lamph, James Lamph; and daughter Cassie Allred. He is also survived by his step-sons; Sam Draney, James Draney, Dan Draney, Kevin Draney, and Casey Draney; also 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Helen, and step-sons Asa Draney Jr., Kelly Draney.

Graveside services under the direction of Walker Mortuary of Provo will be held Thursday, March 2, 2000, at 12:00 p.m, in the Cleveland Cemetery, 520 E. 200 North, Cleveland, Utah.

Janet Lois Hunting Draney, 73, of American Fork, passed away September 19, 2001 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born February 29, 1928 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Claude and Helen Smith Hunting. She married Luris Lamph and was later divorced. She married Asa Draney, May 21, 1971 in Elko, Nevada. Lois lived all her life in American Fork on the family farm where she helped in the daily duties of farm life as a child. She worked for J C Penney in American Fork for over 20 years. She and Asa opened Tri-City Cleaners in American Fork where she worked until her retirement.  She was active in PTA and Cub Scouts. Lois enjoyed sewing and camping with her family. She loved being on the farm and tending to her roses. She is survived by her four children: L. Claude Lamph, American Fork; James (Nancy) Lamph, Lehi; Cassie (Neal) Allred, American Fork; and Samuel Draney; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include step-children: James (Beverly) Draney, Lehi; Dan (Maryanne) Draney, Eagle Mountian; Kevin (Sue) Draney, Spanish Fork; and Casey (Cheryl) Draney, Orem. She was preceded in death by her husband Asa and two step-sons: Asa V. Draney Jr. and Kelly Draney.  Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2001 at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove and on Saturday at the mortuary from 9:30-10:30 a.m. This story appeared in The Daily Herald on page A7.
