Ace Neal Batty, age 21, passed away Feb. 15, 2003 at Ashley Valley Medical

Center. Ace was born July 19, 1981 to Joe and Tonya Batty Alexander. Ace was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but he studied and respected all other faiths and religions. His computer was his favorite thing, which aided him in his quest for knowledge. He loved television, animals and the company of his family--his is already greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Tonya Alexander; sister, Alexis (Brandon) Fletcher of Vernal; grandparents, Neal and Myrna Batty of Vernal; Harold and Gene Gore of Sanger, Calif.; Don and Kay Johnson of Vernal; niece, McKala Fletcher of Vernal and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Johnson and grandfather, Don Alexander. Funeral services will be Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. in the Vernal 2nd Ward Chapel. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday at the chapel one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
