Andrew N. Dearing was born June 22, 1839 near Sparta, TN and died at his home six miles southwest of Littlerobe, Feb. 14, 1905, aged 65 years, 7 months and 22 days. He was married to Miss Caroline WIlson at Harison, Boone Co., Arkansas, Sept 17, 1863. Nine children were born to this union. He leaves his wife and six children to mourn his loss.He was converted and joined the Presbyterian Church in 1886 and lived that faith until his death. He was an excelletn citizen honorable in all his dealings and his death is a sad blow to the community in which he lived.
Funeral services were held at Lone Tree School house, Thursday Feb 16, at 3 o'clock p.m. conducted by the writer. He was laid to rest in the Lone Tree Cemetery.

1900 the census showed family living in a gree and clear farm house in Harrison, Arkansas. Caroline, Boudinot, Ose V., Elvie, Caroline was mother of 8 and at the time of Census only 6 were living. It showed the family to have come from Tennessee showed father of Andrew and Carolinewere both being born in Tennessee and Snrew and Carloine being born in Tenn.

Mrs. DEARING DIED MONDAYMrs. B. C. Dearing, age 77 years, nine months and 3 days, passed away at her home near Bishop, Okalahoma following an illness of several months duration. The following sketch of her life's activities were contributed. Barbery Caroline was the second daughtger of Ddaniel and Rhoda Wilson, and was born near Nashvilee, TN, Jan 20, 1844. At the age of four years with her parents, emigrated westward settling near Harrison, Arkansas where she grew to womanhood. She was married to A. N. DEAARING in 1868 and to this union nine children were born, seven sons and two daughters, three of whom and their father, have passed into the Great Beyond. Of hte deceased chidlren one son died in early childhood and both daughters in early womanhood. THe remaining six chldren are Rev. W. S. Dearing and O. V. Daring, of htis city. D. S., E. C. adn J. B. DEARING of Higgens, TX, all of whom were at their mother's bedside, as was her brotehr, Jeff D. Wilson of Custer, OK.
She was converted in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the year 1876 remaining a consistent member until 1904 when (unreadable) Oklahama when she united with tghe M. E. church south, as a charter member of the chruch and in her community, and under the ministry of her son, Willie. She remained true to her God, her church, her home and her children and her country until the day of her death.
