At some unknown time and place he was taken prisoner and received a parole at Centreville, VA. 1 Oct 1862. He was taken prisoner 3 Apr 1865 at Harts Island, NY. He took the Oath of Allegiance 17 Jun 1865 and was allowed to return home. Description: Fair complexion, dark har, blue eyes, 6' 1 1/2" tall.
