Stephanus sold his share of his father's land to Francis Hough and settled on 400 acres on both sides of Smith Creek in VA. On 7-4-1738 (April 7, 1738) he reported to BUckingham MM that he had settled about 50 miles south of Opequon (Later Hopewell) MM by Daniel James' branch of Smith Creek and gct Opequon MM, VA. On 4 Aug 1738 from Buckingham MM, PA, gct Hopewell MM, VA, near his uncle Robert Scarborough. Aobut 1763 moveed to Rich Valley Creek, Rowan (Now Guilford) Co., NC. They were under the Deep River PM, Rowan Co., NC. Rachel on 28 Feb 1767 from New Garden MM, NC, gct Cane Creek MM, Orange Co. (now Alamance), NC.

George Haworth is often referred to as teh immigrant, George arrived in America 1699 on the ship, "Brittania". He first visited a sister, Mary, wife of John Myers, who was already in America, then went to Philadelphia and worte a ltter from there dated 8-26-1699 (old style). He lived in Bristol Township, Bucks Co., PA before bying land. In 1702 he bought 450 acres near Cottage Hill, in the norht corner of Buckingham Township, Bucks Co., PA. He lived in Makefield Township, Bucks Co., PA on 9-28-1710. After their marriage, George and Sarah settled in Upper Buckingham Township, Bucks Co., PA. They lived for a time in a cabin built for them on the Burn Brindle Hill Property, just below John Scarborough's house. The eldest several children were born there. Later they lived near Lahaska, SOlebury Township, Bucks Co., PA.
His will dated "27th day of 11th month called Janiwary in the year of our Lord 1724/5", was proved 6 June 1725. A 1725 death date appears on page 147 adn a 1730 death date appears on page 177 of Davis' History of Bucks County, Vol. III.George was a linen weaver and farmer. He and Sara were members of the Falls MM, PA, and were charter membesr of Bucking ham MM, Bucks Co., PA. George was a Quaker in England. His farm was located about four milse from Doylesicsville, Bucks Co., PA; Durham Road went across one end of the farm and Milton (now Carversville) Road along one side; Cottag Hill was on Milton Road two miles from Durham Road. George's Will was proved 6 June 1725.
