Isaiah is probably the Isaiah Oglesby or Oglesbee, how setteld in Clinton CO., OH, in 1817 from Frederick Co., VA. This Isaiah Oglesbee died about 1840 and his wife died about 1843. She is undoubtedly the Phebe Ogelsby who was received Center MM, Oh., 5 mo. 15, 1819, from Hopewell MM, VA, on certificate dated 12 mo. 10, 1818. Isaiah and Phebe Oglesbee eveidently ahd a large famiolly, as one or more marreid children are said to ahve come to Ohio with them, and htere were several yhounger children. Only 3 children listed here, were others.
They were living at Crooked Run when he and hsi family were disowned by Hopewell MM, VA, 3 mo 4, 1771, for joining the Baptists. His will was dated Dec 3, 1794. [Ref: Records furnished by Lela D.
