Funeral services for Arthur Kilpatrick Moore of Kennett were conducted Saturday at 2:30 P.M. at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett. Burial was in Gregory Cemetery with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett in charge of arrangements.
    The son of the late George D. and Margaret L. Moore, he was born December 3, 1885, in Piggott, Ark. On January 19, 1910, he was married to Mertie Harris, who survives. He died at the Dunklin County Memorial Hospital at the age of 80.
    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mertie Moore or Kennett; two sons, L. T. Moore of St. Louis, and Doyle Moore of Kennet; three daughters, Mrs. Erma Branch of Kennett, Mrs. Gurtha Hodge of Marquette Park, Ill., and Mrs. Deloise Eads of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Annie McCormick and Mrs. Etta Nixon, both of Pontiac, Mich.
    Three sons, Leslie, Luther and Hershel Moore, preceded him in death.

The obituary states they were married 10 JAN 1910; however, the Clay Co. AR Marriages - Eastern District, shows their marriage date to be 19 FEB 1911.  I have used the marriage record date of 19 FEB 1911 as I feel it is less likely to contain an error than an obituary.  However, anything is possible.
