Louis Harold WILLIAMS

Was a carpenter, Farmer and equipment operator.  Louis was a quiet, gentle, caring man.  Loved carving, music and boat building.  Lived in Malvern, Arkansas.

  Died of Heart disease


Louis, joined the Army at Lake City Ark, Craighead Co.  August 1, 1941.
Service #37-068-549 Place of separation was Welch Convalescent Hospital Daytona Fl.

Served as light mortar crewman in 607th. Battle campaigns/New Georgia Islands camp. Soloman Islands camp.

Decorations, American Defense Service Medal.  Asiatic  Pacific theater Medal and Good Conduct Medal.  Was issued certificate of disability for discharge AR615-361 & 1st Ind HQ.  Honorable Discharge recorded State of Arkansas, County of Craighead on the 28th day of August 1946.
