Richard Parker II ws born 1669. He married Mary (last name unknown). His will, dated April 3, 1744 and probated February 19, 1750, names four daughters, Ann Phillips, Faith Hunt, Hannah Sisson, Judith Clements, and two sons, Richard (1700-1751) and William, and one grandson, Frederick Parker.

25 March 1682 Benjamin Harrison requested that one-half of Judith's two thirds be allowed to Richard Parker, orphan.

16 May 1692, Richard Parker of Surry County, conveyed to Richard Washington, for the sum of 2000 pounds of tobacco, 80 acres of land lying of "Parker's Spring Branch" and Blackwater Swamp. Wit: Elizabeth and Francis Clements Vol III p265

ame of God Amen, April the 3rd, 1744, I Richard Parker of the Parish of Albemarle & County of Surry Being of Sound & perfect Mind & disposing Memory thanks be to God therefore and calling to mind the Uncertain State of this Temporal life and that all Flesh must Yield unto Death whensoever it doth please God to call do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament in Manner & form following to wit: I give & resign my soul into the hands of Almighty God, my Creator trusting in the Merits of my Blessed Redeemers Jesus Christ for Remission of all my sins And my Body to the Earth to be decently interr'd at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter named And as touching such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased God to Bless me with in this life I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis: I give & bequeath to my Daughter Ann Phillips & to her Heirs & Assigns forever all the Land & Plantation whereon she now lives Also one Negro Woman Called Grace Item: I Give & Bequeath unto my Son Richard Parker one NegroWoman Named Sarah now being in his posession Also twenty shillings Current Money. Item: I give & bequeath to my Daughter Faith Hunt twenty shillings Current Money. Item: I Give & bequeath unto my Daughter Judith Clements one Negro Woman Called Moll now in possession of Benjamin Clements her Husband also I Give her twenty Shillings Curr't Money. Item: I Give & bequeath unto my Daughter Hannah Sisson one Negro Woman call'd Betty now in the Possession of her husband Thomas Sisson Also Twenty Shillings Curr't Money. Item: I Give & bequeath unto my Grandson Frederick Parker the Bed & furniture whereon I commonly lye & also Give to my said Grandson Frederick my Negro Man Dick to be delivered to him when he shall attain to the Age of twenty one years and till then the said Negro to remain in the hands of my Executor who is not to be Accountable for the profits of the said Negro During that time. Item: I Give & bequeath unto my Son William Parker to his heirs & Assigns forever all that tract of Land & Plantation whereon I now live. Also my Negro's Ned a Man my Girl Beck alias Doll also her Child now born and all her future increase my Negro Girl Sue My Negro Boy Joe my Negro Boy Robin my Negro Girl Hannah. Item: I Give unto my loving Wife Mary Parker the Labour of my Negro Man call'd Clarke & my Negro Woman called Kate during her Natural life & after the Decease of my said Wife I Give the said Negro's with all suchincrease as the said Kate shall hereafter have unto my SonWilliam Parker. Item: I give unto my loving Wife Mary Parker four hundred pounds of Good Net Beef and four hundred pounds of Good Net Pork to be paid her Annuallly with a month of the Twenty fifth Day of December by my Executor during the Natural Life of my said Wife.Item: In consideration of the above mentioned annual charge upon my Executor I Give unto my Son William Parker all the Rest & Residue of my Estate of what kind or Sort soever and do desire that my Estate may not be appraised. Lastly I do hereby constitute & appoint my said Son William Parker whole & Sole Executor of this my Last Will & Testament hereby utterly revoaking &disannulling all former & other Wills by me made & do declare this and none other to be my Last Will & Testament I Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & affixed my Seal the day & year first above Written. Signed Sealed publish'd declar'd Richard Parker (SEAL) & pronounced by the said Richard Parker to be his Last Will & Tes- tament in presence of Sarah Jones Elizabeth Jones Junr Elizabeth Jones Robert Jones Junior At a Court held for Surry County the 19th Day of February 1750, the afore Written Last Will & Testament of Richard Parker Deced: was presented in Court by William Parker the Executor therein Named who made Oath thereto according to Law and the Same was proved by the Oath of Robert Jones Junior one of the Witnesses thereto And by the Court Ordered to be Recorded.
