This is based on some late information we have just discovered in a book on Logan Co. which we ran across at the Iowa Historical Building last Wednesday. We also feel there are two corrections that need to be made in your pedigree charts on the Hiatt family. We know that Amos Hiatt, Sr. was active in the Friends Cemetery in Oskaloosa, along with his wife, Lydia. It is located immediately northeast of Penn College. We are enclosing a picture of his headstone and we have visited his grave several times..."
