DR. WILL TIPTON DIED SUNDAY"Dr. Will Tipton, 55, formerly of this place, died at Chemawa, Oregon Sunday from a heeart attack. his body will be brought to this place for burial and the funeral will held Thursday. He is survived by his wife, two brothers, Ernest of Littlerroack; and Len, of Moline, Illinois, and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Walters, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Mrs. Henryella Quinn of California. He is the son of former Colonel Tipton, who served Arkansas, as State Treasure (and Sentor ). His brother, Dr. J. T. Tipton, who practised medicine in Mountian Home for 50 years, died in June.
"Dr. Will Tipton stared the practice of medicine at Custer in this county years ago. Later he moved to Mountian home and entered into parnership with his brother, Dr. J. T. Tipton. About 10 years ago he entered the government service and went to New Mexico, where he took charge of an Indian Hospital. Lately he was transferred to Oregon. His wife was the former Miss Eva Arnett, daughter of Grorge Arnett and wife of Custer. He was a fine man and a splendid physician and did mush to relieve suffering in this world. Dr. Will was kind and charitable and always had a sympathic word for everyone who was sick or in trouble. Like his brother, Dr. Jim, his memory will live in this county until the last one dies who knew and loved him .
