I visited with Herbert and his lovely wife Mary yesterday while returning from my mother's
funeral in Kentucky.
Herbert is a devout Genealogist and a very active member or the Son's of The American
Revolution.
Today I received the sad news that Herbert had died 10 days after our visit
on september 28, 1997.
Even though I only met him once for about 2 hours and talked to him on
the phone several times I felt like I had known him forever and I will miss him.Winfred Tipton
