This represented 80 acres in Green township, Harrison Co., OH. The grant was signed by President James Monroe. Sylvester Jr. and Mary Bliss Tipton made their home there until 18 April, 1833 when it was purchased by William Beatty for $500 according to Cadiz Court records.
