He got his name from Cornelia's paternal grandmother who was Priscilla Douglas married Wilson Cage. Their son was John Overton Cage-Cornelia's father. Priscilla's father, Richard Douglas, came to America. He was the son of Lord Robert Douglas of Scotland, who married Lady Margaret Howard of England.
