I would like to call your attention to one error, of which Iam aware. Fred Miller Tipton son of Reuben Tipton, son of William H., son of Reuben S., Great-grandfather, and he did not die until April 1976. This date of 1940 is evidently a common mistake, Whoseorigin I have no Idea. Its is listed on every Tipton website that I have found. but Fred Miller lost his first wife, Rosa Etta Easter Tipton, on Ferruary 15, 1959. An entry in his bible states, Rosa died about 2:00 p.m. in my arms, in Shelby Master's car (Shelby Master was a neighbor and they were on route to the hospital.) I know he later married, but I do not know who (she was a woman from Lexington). I do remember that my grandmother, Audrey Mabel Tipton Reed Weigott, did not care for the woman, Fred's second wife also died before he. I known not when. But, I remember "Dad Tipton's" death, mostly I remember the auctin that was held after his death.
I'am sure I've told you much more than you care to know. I appreciate your time and do you correct the error. Best wishes for a long and Happy life. Your Sincerely, Leasa Reed Akins, Standford, Kentucky.
