Bird Walker, Eli Hutchinson, John Capps Walker and some other neighbors, were in the timber and at noon when they stopped to eat lunch, They sat on a log and John Capps Walker had a shotgun which he leaned against the log. The gun fell and discharged and shot John Capps Walker in the knee. He died a few days later.
Casket bearers were Jesse and Fred Gall, A. D. Walker, Dud Trotter, Willard Simpson, Darl, Ray, and John Enoch Gall, had grandchildren.
