Elvirah EDWARDS

Bible record of Judge William E. EDWARDS.


     Edwards, Elvirah Harrison, daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth (Cram) Edwards, was born on Aug. 11, 1810 at Cold Stream, Hampshire County, and died on March 1, 1844. She married a Mr. Harrison on March 11, 1830. Is is believe that her husband was Nathan Harrison, son of Robert Harrison. Source: Bible record of Judge William E. Edwards.

EDWARDS, William Mead, son of Anthony and Elizabeth (CRAM) EDWARDS, was born at Cold Stream, Hampshire Co., Va. on Nov. 26, 1829, and died at Martinsburg,
W.Va. on Sept. 19, 1902.  He married: Mary Ann KELLY, daughter of James and
Ellen (FRISELLMAN) KELLY, on March 28, 1854.  She was born on March 13, 1833
and died at Bowling Green, Ky. on May 12, 1864.  (2) Elizabeth Catherine
PEACEMAKER, on Oct. 23, 1866.  She died on April 3, 1876 in Frederick Co., VA.  (3) Minnie BOXWELL, on Nov. 16, 1880, in Frederick Co., VA.  He was an
undertaker at Cold Stream, Hampshire Co., during the 1850's and early 1860's;
later moved to Frederick Co. where he served as postmaster in one  of the
postoffices.

Edwards, Thomas Austin, son of Anthony and Elizabeth (Cram) Edwards, was born at Cold Stream, Hampshire County, Va. on Oct. 13, 1816, and died on Feb. 20, 1853. The family Bible stated that he was married on Jan. 14, 1840, but didn't name the spouse, nor where they lived.

     
Edwards, Thomas Austin, son of Anthony and Elizabeth (Cram) Edwards, was born at Cold Stream, Hampshire County, Va. on Oct. 13, 1816, and died on Feb. 20, 1853. The family Bible stated that he was married on Jan. 14, 1840, but didn't name the spouse, nor where they lived.


John Cram EDWARDS

    Edwards, John Cram, son of Anthony and Elizabeth (Cram) Edwards, was born at Cold Stream, Hampshire County, on March 26, 1819 and died on Jan. 26, 1903 in Kansas. His first wife, Harriet Baker, was born on Jan. 17, 1819 and died on Sept. 14, 1866. They were married on Dec. 6, 1843. She was buried in the Episcopal cemetery at Cold Stream. He then married to Martha Jane Cooper? on Sept. 23, 1867. She was born on Feb. 11, 1846, at Cold Stream, and died on Feb. 28, 1930, in Kansas. She told her children that her maiden name was Cooper, but hte marriage record in Romney says Caudy (signed by Evan Caudy). A third story says that her mother was nee Canon, the birth name of Martha J. probably she was raised by a cooper family, and adopted that name.
