Loy, Peter, son of Adam and Sarah (HIETT) Loy, was born on Feb. 21, 1812 and died on March 18, 1867. HIs wife ws Anna Foltz, day. of martin L. and Mary M. (Emswiller) Foltz. Anna was born on Nov. 20, 1820 and died on 7 Apr. 1905. They were buried in the Old Martin FULTZ graveyard, on Voit Road, near Slanesville, W. Va. Several samll children were buried nearby. One inscription says: Jon Hiett Loy, born June 13 1850 and died on Sept. 2, 1853. Next to that is the oldest appearing gravestone (but uninscribed) in the graveyard. Cattle have knocked down most of the old graves, and nobody has organized to restore this very important historical graveyard. Members of the Haines, Fultz, and Loy families are buried here.Sharon Myers adds sources:

Loy, Benjamin, son of Adam and Sarah (HIETT) Loy, died on 22 Feb 1898, aged 76 yrs., 3 mo., 28 days. His wife was Martha Iden, Dau. of Jonathan and
Catherine (Jolly) IDEN, died on 21 April 1895, aged 73 yrs., 1 mo., 2 dys. In the same private graveyard: A. C. Loy, born 31 Dec 1845 and died 24 Dec. 1911; Benjamin F. Loy, born 23 Aug. 1855 and died 22 Aug. 1863; Samuel W. Loy, died on 27 Aug. 1862; Jonathan H. Loy, born 19 Aug. 1849; Bakie LOY, born on 13 Feb. 1863 and died on 19 March 1863, twin; William L. Loy, son of Benjamin Loy, born 22 Dec. 1867 and died 27 Dec. 1867. Four graves are outside the family graveyard, probably slaves were buried there. With information on hand I cannot definitely place all these as children of Benjamin Loy, however, they are all belonging to this family and I have placed them as children in order to preserve a place for their records, allowing additional researchers, or family members an opportunity to separate them if incorrect.(510.) D/o Jonathan and Catherine (Jolly) Iden. Martha and Benjamin had several
infant children buried in the private family graveyard, located on what is
known as the "North River Bend Farm". This site is along North River Road, on the west side of the River and several miles south of North River Mills.

Iden, Jonathan, son of Jacob and Elizabeth Iden, was born in loudoun
County, Va. and died in Hampshire Co., W. Va. on 4 Dec 1875, aged 91 years, 3
months, 21 days. According to the South Branch Intelligerncer, Jonathan died
at the home of son in law, Benjamin Loy (daughter/wife Martha Ann Iden). He
moved toFrederick Co., during early life, and to Hampshire Co., in 1871.
Jonathan was a verteran of the War of 1812. Burial was in the Wesley Chapel
Methodist CHurch Cem. on U.S. 522 south of the Frederick Co., Va/Morgan County, W. Va. line. His wife Cahterine Jolley (1784-1872) was buried next to Jonathan.
Jonathan had another daughter Phebe, who married Samuel Shanholtz, s/o
Peter and Magdalena (Hott) Shanholtz.
