Thomas TIPTON

Thomas married Amy Unknown 42 abt 1786. she was born Abt. 1767 and died 1835.

    At this time, the family of Thomas and Amy is just speculation. Very little proof has been found to identify all of their children. Much more research is needed at this time.

ii Reuben Tipton 42 b. April 5, 1789, Waynesboro, Burke Georgia; d. 1824, Waynesboro, Burke,  Georgia.
iii John Green Tipton, b. April 5, 1798 Waynesboro, Burke, Georgia; d. March 20 1853, Selma, Alabama.
iv Joseph Tipton, b. March 15, 1804, Waynesboro, Burke, Georgia; d. Abt. 1857, Butler, Alabama.
v Hiram Tipton Sr. b. Abt. 1806, Waynesboro, Burke, Georgia; d. Sepember 1845, Dallas, Alabama.
vi Benjamin tipton, b. Abt. 1808, waynesboro, Burke, Georgia; d. Abt. 1845, Selma, Alabama.


Samuel TIPTON Jr.

He assisted in establishing American Independence, while acting in the capacity of Ensign in the Militia of the State of Maryland.

Shadrach TIPTON

Shadrach was in Capt., Paxton's Ranging Company, Private, Rev. War.

Methodist Minister.
    He moved to Warrior mark Twp., Hunntingdon, Pennsylvania and helped build the first Medthodist Church there. From there he moved to Cadiz, Ohio He sold his land in Pennsylvania in 1815 and brought land one mile from Cadiz, Ohio. Deed recorded, Tipton Farm in Ohio, June 24, 1815. Robert Crouch & wife to Shadrack Tipton 57 acres for $850.
     Military recored Sepember 17, 1776, Capt Paxton's Ranging Company at Bedford the 12th of September, ending November 13, days pay -58, Rations drawn 28; Referance, Pennsylvania Archives; Series 5th Muster roll Vol. 5 pages 53-55.
