I, Mashac Tipton of the County of Blount State of Tennessee, being in the 91st. year of my natural life and being of sound disposing mind and memory and knowing of the approach of death, I have deemed it my duty on this 20th day of may, in the year of your load 1850 to commit to writhing this my last will and testament, and first I will and beqeath God of all my mercies and my body entomed in the earth in a Christain manner in the second place, I will and bequeath to Hiram, the boy I set free, my Iron gray mare three years old this spring and the cow that he now claims with the bed that he now sleeps upon providing that he stays with me until my death and if he leaves me before my death the property above named be sold and divded among the heirs here after named. In the third place, I give and bequeath to my grandson, Abraham Hix my find over coat. In the fouth place, I give and beqeath to Thomas Davis, my son-in -law my rifel gun, in the fifth place I bequeath to James Tipton all the note or notes that I hold on him at my death with my walking cane. In the the sixth place, I give and bequeath to Eliza Davis and James Davis and Stephen Davis my grandsons, and Elizabeth Brewer, my granddaughter, and to Vance walker my neighbor the balance of my estate after all my debts is paid and Vance Walker to have mush more as either of the grandchildren. and the above grandchildren each one to have equal shairs. In the seveth place my will is that all the notes that I hold on Vance Walker shall be sold to the highest bidder when the rest of my property is sold.
