"Arthur N. Ayotte
"Ishpeming - Arthur N. Ayotte, age 80, of 204 E. Division St., Ishpeming died Saturday, January 11, 1997 at the Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming."He was born December 31, 1916 in Detroit to the late Jerald & Elsie (LaCosse) Ayotte. He moved to the Ishpeming area in 1942 and has resided here since that time. He worked as an underground miner and later as a Euclid Driver at the Republic Mine, retiring in 1967. He was a member of the Junction Club.
"Survivors include 2 sons, Day (Tami) Ayotte of Negaunee & Steven (June) Ayotte of Ishpeming; 1 sister, Jeanette (Irvin) Branch of Salem,OR; 1 brother Earl (Gertrude) Ayotte of Ishpeming; 9 grandchildren, Mark, Gary, Scott, Diane, April, Amanda, Selina, Michelle Ayotte & Kim Orred; and several nieces & nephews.
"He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian in 1990, a son Robert in 1987, a brother Gerard and a sister Cecilia Uren.
"Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, January 13, 1997 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with the Rev. Fr. Vincent Ouellette to officiate. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. on Monday."

"Lillian Ayotte
"Ishpeming - Lillian M. Ayotte, 67, of County Road CCE, Ishpeming, died Wednesday apparently of a heart attack while driving on County Road 581."Born Jan. 15, 1923 in Ishpeming, she worked at Johnny's Restaurant as a cook for many years, retiring in 1975.
"Surviving are her husband, Arthur of Ishpeming; two sons, Danny of Ishpeming and Steven of San Diego, Calif.; her mother, Myrtle Aho of Ishpeming; two brothers, William Aho of Green Creek Location and Russell Aho of Ishpeming; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A son, Robert, died in 1987.
"A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hope Free Lutheran Church in Ishpeming with the Rev. Harvey Jackson officiating. Cremation will be at the Northland Chapel Gardens. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until services Saturday. The Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home of Ishpeming is in charge of arrangements."

"Robert E. Perala
"Ishpeming - Robert E. Perala, 71, 880 Patriot St., Ishpeming, died at 11:00 PM on Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999 at Marquette General Hospital where he had been a patient since Nov. 1st."Mr. Perala was born Oct. 8, 1928 in Ishpeming to Harvey & Clara (Knight) Perala and was a life long area resident.
"Robert attended Bethel Lutheran Church, Ishpeming. He wasmployed by Inland Steel at the Morris Mine, by J&L at the Tracy Mine, and by CCI at the Mather B. Mine and the Tilden Mine. He retired in1991. Robert was an avid hunter, enjoyed going to hunting camp, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
"Surviving, are his wife Barbara (Dushane) Perala, 1 son, Robert (Carla) Perala, Ishpeming, his mother Clara Perala, Negaunee, 2 brothers, Ronald "Jack" (Barbara) Perala, Negaunee, Keith Perala, Negaunee, 1 sister, Beverly (Jim) Wagner, Green Bay, WI, 2 grandchildren, Trisha (Lorin) Riutta, Ishpeming, Bradley Perala, Ishpeming, 2 great grandchildren, Robbie & Riley Riutta, Ishpeming. He was preceded in death by his father, his beloved grandson Brian Perala, 2 brothers Gary and Kenneth Perala.
"Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Bethel Lutheran Church, Ishpeming with Rev. Bruce Ulstad officiating. Burial will be in the Negaunee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Merton Holman, Terry Holman, Lorin Riutta, Douglas DuShane, and Derek DuShane ,Mark Perala and Gary Perala."
