At his marriage, Joseph is recorded as "Joseph Ripper of Breage" (per Martin Ripper data). Possible burial at Stithians 10/3/1782. Wendy Taylor reports that Breage registers have an entry of a burial of a Joseph Ripper on 26 Jun 1792, aged 73.
Mary was accused in 1779 of stealing a cloak. The deposition of the aggrieved Elizabeth Chenoweth follows.
"The Borough of Helston, Cornwall
"The voluntary deposition and information of Elizabeth Chenoweth, wife of John Chenoweth of the same borough, carrier, taken this eighth day of September 1799 before me John Rogers Esq, Mayor of the same borough who on oath saith
"That last easter Tuesday in the evening she had a scarlet cloth cloak stolen out of her dwelling house in the said borough and being informed by some of the neighbours that the cloak had been seen on the back of Mary the wife of Sidney Ripper, labourer, residing in the said borough she took the first opportunity of examining into the matter and saw the said cloak worn by the said Mary Ripper and which this day being produced before the said Mayor by the said Mary Ripper she this deponent says that it is the same cloak which was taken from her dwelling house last Easter Tuesday and which is her property and that she verily believes the same was feloniously stolen by the said Mary Ripper and carried away out of the said house.

The outcome of this action is not known.
A burial of a Philip Ripper at Breage (18 Sep 1786), pauper, aged 60 is recorded in Breage register.
Patience has two entries for her baptism on different dates - 12th December 1767 (parish register) and 23rd May 1768 (probably Bishop's Transcripts).
This is the only James available to marry Margaret Tripconny, except the James who is the son of Sidney & Mary. He was born in Breage and seems to have married Joan Clarke there in 1781. Mentioned in the list of miners at Breage in 1798, aged 45.
In the Breage Accounts in June to October 1775 there is an entry for five shillings for holding a survey of Philip Repar's premises.
In the Perranzabuloe registers there is recorded a baptism of Catherine, the daughter of James & Honour Ripper on 04 Jul 1802.
Four years later appears an entry of the baptism of a Mary, the daughter of Richard and Honour Ripper on 25 Jul 1806.
The family do not have a James who would obviously qualify, given that it is unlikely that both Richard and James would have married an Honour I have assumed, until closer investigation of the registers at Cornwall Record Office in Truro can show the true entries, that the father is Richard.
A Richard was present to witness his sister's marriage in 1817 (Catherine).
He seems to have died in 1830. There is an entry in 'Cornish Wills' which shows that a will is lodged at the Royal Institution in River Street, Truro. To date I have not had the opportunity to read this will but it may well reveal some relationships which confirm this part of the tree.
At the recording of his death, James is noted as being of Sewrath
A farmer at Breage until at least 1714 when the 7th child was born, Thomas then farmed at Crowan until 1739. He was a churchwarden at Crowan in 1724.
Thomas left a will a copy of which is in the possession of Wendy Taylor.
