Joseph WILLIAMS

Joseph took the Colonial oath at Haverhill the 28th of Nov. 1677.   After the birth of his son, John, Joseph is not found on the Haverhill records again.  The next trace of him is found in Norwich, CT.  He is included in the list of the first settlers of that place.  They were neighbors to Josiah, son of the renowned Miles Standish who settled close by, and were members of the Congregational Church of Norwich.  Town records show many real estate transactions for Joseph Williams andpointed to him as a man in prosperous circumstances.  Many of Joseph's immediate relatives lost their lives in Indian massacres.

Mary FULLER

Was the daughter of Samuel Fuller who came on the "Mayflower" and Jane Lathrop, daughter of John Lathrop.
