I was told by Emma Campfield that William Campfield had red hair.That he was hitch hiking to or from Calif When he got caught in a sand storm in Arizona and got sand in his lungs.He came home to 201 Wisconsin St.Danville,Ill at that time already sick and he died.His death cert says that he had Typhoid Fever complicated with three intestinal hemorrhages.
He is buried at Songer cemetary in Tilton,Ill on the Catlin-Tilton Road.

Aunt Ruth and Mom (Emma) shared an apt in Danville,Ill.Mom was baking,it was hot.When Mom went to get the fan Aunt Ruth told her she couldn't have it.Instead of taking it anyway since it was so hot she (Emma) went back to the hot kitchen to continue with her baking and had a heat stroke.She went into a coma and was in the hospital for several days where she died.
