WILLIAM A. HAZELRIGG passed away November 27, 1963 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Denver, Col. at the age of 85 years, 2 months, and 27 days, after a long illness. He was the youngest of 6 children, born to the late William N. and Pauline Terry Hazelrigg, all of whom have preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Jessie Ann Nickell Feb. 16, 1904 and to this union one daughter was born.
Mr. Hazelrigg had been a farmer residing 4 miles North and a mile west of Jamesport for many years before going to Denver in 1944 due to ill health of Mrs. Hazelrigg who preceded him in death December 10, 1957. He was employed by the Denver Tram-until his retirement in 1948.
Surviving is his daughter Kathleen Burger, of Long Beach, California, three grandchildren Lt. William R. Hummell of the US Navy, Jo Ann Hurt, Alameda, Ca., and Raymond L. Burger, Long Beach Ca. 8 grandchildren, a nephew Wm. R. Snyder, Kansas City, Mo., a niece Roberta Payne of Wichita, Ks. and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Hazelrigg was a member of the Christian church since a young man. He and Mrs. Hazelrigg are at rest in the Crown Hill cemetery in Denver, Colo.
