Sarah HIATT

  HH Book page 117, 220.  From brokenmanstuart@netzero.net  7 Mar 2002
Glad to hear you are back, safe and sound, especially considering the news about unrest and US forces that were sent over. (Philippines)  I have received your CD:H/H Fam. Hist.  I found it curious that you recorded Daniel Antrim and son John Milton Antrim, my ggggrandfather, but no mention of Sarah HIATT.  I just went back to the CD to check what information you had on him.  Here is what I have on John: born 11 July 1831; Richmoand, Wayne Co., IN; married 12 April 1852 in Hamilton Co., IN.  Died 10 Nov 1913 in Montrose, McCook Co., SD.  WIfe was Sarah Haines Hamlin.  His son, Albert Raymond, was born 12 Sep 1875 in Hesper, IA.  I only mention this for their movements.  Daniel Antrim's father is Levi, son of Daniel and Susanna Weaver, which is where I pick up the Quaker connection to MM notes:  EQG. Vol 7 part 1, pages 6 and 71 for Whitewater MM, IN and Mississinewa, Marion, Indiana.  In part 3, page 21.  Then there's John M. in part 6 page 402, gct Winneshiek MM, IA, from Hinkles Creek, IN ...Fall Creek MM, OH.  Volume 5, pg. 304 lists Sarah marrying Daniel Antrim 22 March 1828.  Does any of this help find Sarah and her tie to the HIATT's?  Is there a form for receiving the newsletter?

Latest information sent by Jack N. Rinker, 293 Norman Dr., Cranberry Twp., PA  16066.  Tel 724-776-8293  rinker@nauticom.net  21 Dec 2001.

My parents, deceased, are William Neely Rinker and Sarah Belle Noll.  William is the son of Silas Edwin (also Edward) Rinker and Carrie Neely.  Shilas Edwin is the son of Silas E. Rinker and Mellisa Jane HIATT.  The charts take it from there.  I have traced the Cracraft line back to England - and, I have the HIATT's back to 1600's and to England.  This needs checking.  I have nothing on the female links in the HIATT line, e.e., Lucinda Harper, Mary Worley, Hannah Reece, Rachel Wilson, or Mary F. Smith.  For more Rinker details you should look at the Morgan County Historical Society and Genealogy Association, Inc. (http://www.rootsweb.com/~inmachaga/mchagai.html).  etc.,referign to:  Descendants of George Rinker - 14 pages of details.  I gatehr the Hiatts were also heavily involved in Morgon Co., IN.

Tried to send to home email and it kicked back. Have Lucinda marrying into the Rinkers, Joseph Hiatt's will, dated 1849, death about 1851, since 3 year old son Oliver Hiatt "Rinker" was mentioned in lawsuit of Lucinda and Eli Rinker.  Check also Quaker Gen. as Joseph was Quaker. Have to recheck my notes to see MM.  I assume Linda was also Quaker.  See Hinshaw's notes, if you can access them (Wade Hinshaw - Quaker Ge.)  Send me directly with Email.  Joseph died in Morgan Co., IN, whre all the exciting stuff takes place with the Rinkers.
