Hello, I am Candy O'Toole, Everett Hiatt's daughter, son of Andrew Hiatt. I konw you have been in touch with Bill Hall and he probably told you about Bob and Glen Irwin joining our Hiatt reunion we had on October 14th. I told Bill that I would forward you the emails that I have received from Glen Irwin. (Bob and Glen are cousin's to one another, I believe.) Hopefully, you will be able to piece together this side of Grandma Hiatt's family. Bob's grandpa was Grandpa Hiatt's brother. I hope you find the following emails of interest. Candy.(Included was a picture of Bob when a young man. This reads - This picture of Grandpa bob hung in the living room above the piano, along with a picture of Grandma and the oldest daughter, Pearl. A few years after Grandpa died,Grandma moved to a little house in Sidney. The house sat empty for several years. It began to leak, and mice took a toll on what was left. I was teaching in California when the house was cleaned out. Dad got this picture, and I am guessing the other ones did not survive the elements. This one was passed on to me. It is all torn and tattered around the edges. My daughter in law took a picture of it, and my niece's husband doctored it up with his computer.)

Notes by Glenn Irwin, mailto: girwin@tconl.com 17 Oct 2007I believe that all 5 of the children in the family attended Lone Willow School, about 1/2 mile south of their home. The school was still standing in a field of weeds when I was a child in the 1940's. My siblings and I use to play in the old building.
