KNOX CHAPEL CEMETERY http://www.rootsweb.com/~ingrant/knoxoriB.htm The easiest way to get to this cemetery is to go south of Marion onState Road 37 to 1000 South and turn right or west and proceed down1000 S. past 700 West and within a half a mile you will see thiscemetery on both sides of the road. The old church is now gone, torndown a couple of years ago.

He was a veteran of the Civil War, enlisting in Company Hof the 101st Indiana Volunteer Infantry on 12 Aug 1862 at Anderson,IN. He was later transferred to Company E where he attained the rankof sergeant. He was discharged on 24 Jun 1865. He and Martha Littletonappeared on the census of 1880 in Liberty township, Grant County, IN.
